Firstly, I just have to comment on something... I am OBSESSED with the blog! When Jack naps for that blissful two hours each afternoon (knock on wood), I almost can not get online fast enough. I love seeing all of the unread posts just waiting for me. It makes me tingle! So many people, living such creative and interesting lives! I love it. What would I do without internet?
I cringe to think...
Secondly, this day has been B-E-A-utiful! Jack and I packed a picnic, journeyed to Kennesaw Mountain and enjoyed a brisk walk up to the top. (Um, no, Jack didn't walk the entire way... only about a mile total...Don't alert DFACS.) On the way home we stopped off for an ice cream. He could not have been any cuter. He was dancing, leaping, smiling from ear to ear, telling strangers that he loved them... saying, "Mmmmm, Mama... Mmmmm, thank you thank you." I look at him and am in tears within seconds... it's too much love to bear!
Thirdly, Andy's been out of town all week and is coming back today. (He never wants me to broadcast when he's out of town... I think he's afraid that Hugh Jackman will see it as his opportunity to come and sweep me away. He stalks me, ya know... Men!) Anyway, since he's been gone all week, I've not been cooking like I normally do. Instead, I've subsisted on a diet of random leftovers, chocolate, wine, chips and salsa, tuna fish, cereal, wine and of course...wine and frozen TV dinners. You may be thinking that this sounds grim... but I actually don't mind frozen dinners. And I just had one for lunch that was SO good, I am posting this as an addendum to my TV dinner tribute.
Kashi's Mayan Harvest Bake!
It's got plantains with roasted sweet potato, black beans and kale, spicy ancho sauce with pumpkin seed garnish served over Kashi seven whole grain polenta. It's FRIGGIN' awesome!
Sweet, savory, chewy, crunchy, spicy, delicious, and CHEAP! Buy it, eat it, love it...
(and don't be afraid to admit it!)
Make me feel a little better about the above confessions by telling me one of your guilty pleasures.

blogging is so addictive! commenting, coming up with new posts, finding new blogs, checking stats -- i'm hooked too! it is making me a little crazy trying to keep up with it all + job + relationship + life, but i seem powerless to stop!
