Lee Greenwood's got some nerve...

Saturdays rock socks! I think the greatest thing about them for me is the possibility of getting to sleep in while Andy wakes with the boy child. They usually go out for a long walk or to the park, and leave me a quiet house to blissfully dream in. It's magical. I love to sleep. To hibernate. I could easily have been a polar bear in my last life.

A silly note of interest: This morning (at 11:35... :) what actually woke me up was a little surreal. I was blissfully dreaming about taking a tour of Justin Bobby's house in Malibu with Mikhail Baryshnikov as my tour guide... when someone started singing "Proud to be an American" at the top of their lungs. I looked at Mikhail quizzically... but he had no answers. I reluctantly opened my eyes, but the singing continued. As a reflex, i rolled over and tried to turn of the alarm (which is funny because I haven't actually used my alarm in over two years... it's null and void as long as I have Jack to wake me...) Anyway, it wasn't the alarm... So my next thought was that it was the TV in the playroom... No. It was coming from outside. ...From the town square in Austell... it echoed all the way across town, to my house. ...

S
o there I was standing in the front yard, sleepy-eyed and confused, and cursing Lee Greenwood.

Bizarre.
But, I digress...

Even though I would love nothing more than to sit here and fiddle with my blog all day, I must re-enter the world of the living. We're planning a visit to see our buds the Graham's this afternoon, and finally meet their newest addition, Matilda Louise. Can't wait!

And I need to reward my awesomeness with a little Me-and-Martha-Time...
This is what I wait for ever year...

LOVE IT!

But until my next post, I will leave you with a little nonsense for your Saturday.
This made me laugh out loud.

the funny thing is that you consider 11:30 am to be morning...
