Last night...

Last night was excellent.
Andy and I enjoyed a middle-of-the-week date night consisting of margarita's and dinner at El Myr followed by an awesome show.
Jenny Lewis has been one of Andy's crushes for quite some time now. (Actually, I think it may go beyond "crush". It may be bordering on an unhealthy obsession.... but my theory has always been don't ask, don't tell when it comes to those kinds of things...) Nevertheless... I have to admit that as for myself, I've never really given her a fair listen (perhaps because of the aforementioned obsession by my husband...)
But recently I have come to like her more and more, and after last night's performance, I will admit...
I'm kinda crushin' too.

After dinner, we walked (or stumbled) next door to the show.

She was totally awesome. Cute, fun, entertaining... and I'm totally in love with her voice. ...(And her scottish boyfriend playing guitar on the right.) They sang a couple together... too sweet.



All in all it was an excellent way to spend a Tuesday night.
